Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa is an exquisite island destination situated on Bazaruto Island, the largest island in the Mozambican archipelago of the same name. It offers visitors the quintessential Indian Ocean island holiday as well as a gateway to the unspoilt beauty of the surrounding area.
The largest of the archipelago islands, Bazaruto is one of Africa's premier scuba diving destinations. Divers are able to see over 100 species of coral, thousands of tropical fish species, five kinds of dolphins, four whale species and sharks, all five marine sea turtle species and the largest population of the rare dugong on the African east coast.
Activities:
Mozambique Diving
The Bazaruto Marine National Park around Indigo Bay offers some of the finest and most unexplored diving in the world with untouched coral reefs and an astounding diversity of marine species.
A dazzling array of fish, from Moray Eels and Stingrays to Barracuda, Kingfish and other pelagic gamefish can be spotted whilst diving here in tropical waters that seldom drop below 26c degrees.
Mozambique Fishing
Indigo Bay provides the perfect launch pad from which to experience some of the most exciting game fishing to be found in the world.
Legendary species such as Giant Black Marlin, Sailfish and Wahoo frequent the deep Mozambique Channel surrounding the Bazaruto Archipelago and fishing is excellent all year round.
Land and Water Sports
Bazaruto Island provides a diverse and stimulating environment within which to keep active all day long.
Water sport lovers can enjoy water-skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding, kayaking, windsurfing and Hobiecat sailing in the warm Indian Ocean.
Dune boarding on the island's high dunes is fantastic fun for the entire family whilst nature lovers will enjoy birdwatching and exploring the interesting fauna and flora around the island.

Bryan and Joel,
We will be forever grateful to you guys for making the incredibly complicated seem simple and easy. The task of transporting fourteen “high standard” queens half way around the world, then entertain and wow them for two weeks was monumental, but you guys pulled it off and never looked like you were working. Wow.

Bryan and Joel go out of their way to make sure that all guests have that "once-in-a-lifetime" experience and memory. The trip exceeded all expectations, even after setting very high goals. I wanted each day to be better than the day experience that was just had, and we accomplished that.
Zoom is easy to work with, and Bryan and Joel work very well together.

Zoom Vacations went out of their way to make sure the trip was special. The necessary details were handled which made traveling easy. But, it was the special attention to details or special events that made this trip memorable. Whether it was the dinner in the bush or the visit to the village these are what made this trip, and the experience with Zoom Vacations, unique. The thing that impressed me the most however, and the thing I be most often goes un-noticed, is the way Zoom paid attention to the experience of each person on the trip. There were a number of times when they paid special attention to people who they felt like needed it – whether it was just checking in to make sure the person was ok or making a point to engage them in conversation or give them space as needed. I can honestly say that Zoom went out of their way to care for the travelers on all levels.
