Zoom Vacations was founded by Joel Cabrera, Bryan Herb, and Bill Gudenau. Joel is a former attorney with a passion for exotic travel. Bryan is a former High School English Teacher and avid traveler. Bill is an accomplished entrepreneur who started one of the largest hotel companies in the world. Together, their passion for travel combined with their commitment to the gay and lesbian community inspired them to form a tour company to meet the evolving social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the gay and lesbian leisure traveler, and their families and friends.

Joel, the company's Chief Travel Officer, was well positioned to capture this evolution in the type and quality of travel desired by the gay and lesbian community. During Joel's travels to several circuit parties in recent years, many of the friends that he met along the way voiced a desire to experience a different type of vacation; one in which meaningful experiences and the places visited were now predominant factors.
